In Touch is the part of Social Work Focus where you can keep in touch with other members of the community. The Forums offer the opportunity to follow – and contribute to – discussions about important issues relating to the various aspects of social work and social care From here you can also gain access to the Social Work Focus Facebook group and be a full member of this exciting online community. If you are not familiar with the Facebook phenomenon, click here to find out what it can offer you. IMPORTANT NOTE: To become a member of our Facebook group you will need to become a registered member of Social Work Focus. Non-members are not eligible to join our community's Facebook group, so please make sure you have registered as a member here before you apply to join the group. And that’s not all, we’ve also got blogs that enable you to read – and respond to – what the opinion makers have to say (and you can even start your own blog if you want to) as well as Twitter to keep you updated on what is happening in the world of well-being. (Click here for a short introduction to Twitter) Want more than just words? Then have a look at The Social Work Gallery (a collection of relevant photos) or visit our section of the YouTube site. But don’t just have a look, why not upload your own photos or videos so that other members of the Social Work Focus community can benefit from them. The Gallery and YouTube can entertain, record, celebrate, communicate and promote learning. So, if you are involved in a conference or special event or anything else that might be of interest to other members of the community, please do make a contribution. *** Please note that we reserve the right to remove any offensive or ethically unacceptable material *** |
